The Annex teaches traditional metalsmithing techniques, with a contemporary art focus. Choose from beginning through advanced classes. You will learn while creating finished jewelry and small objects.
NEW - week-long summer "Master Classes," designed to pass along the secrets and 'tricks of the trade' Anne has learned in her 20 years of experience in the field.

    "Points of Departure" April 17-22, 2010
    Come see the most important San Diego metals event of the year - Helen Shirk's retirement show, plus work by 12 alumni.
  • Houston Center for Contemporary Craft
    "xTreme Tea" exhibit, January 16-March 21, 2010. Anne's tea infuser, "Tempest T' will be shown along with other contemporary and historical tea infusers and strainers. Show curated by Tom Muir, well-known silversmith and head of Jewelry/Metals at Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
  • Greater Denton Arts Council
    "Materials Hard & Soft" February 6 - April 1 2010 in Denton, Texas.
    The 22nd annual fine crafts exhibition was curated this year by Jo Lauria, former curator for LACMA and chief curator of 'Crafts in America.'
